Live Demo of Advanced Vibration Monitoring at ENTECH in Korea

To further promote our digital solutions, we developed and built demo devices of PROGNOST® UP! Detect, our latest service providing vibration monitoring for early failure detection.

They feature a fully functional reciprocating compressor with one cylinder, equipped with monitoring technology to detect common failure modes. Sensor data is processed by the PROGNOST®-Chrome and transmitted via Ether CAT real-time bus to the PROGNOST®-Edge, from where it is sent to the cloud.

Cloud connectivity is established via a built-in modem, which supports both Wi-Fi and LTE/GSM. This enables us to set up an internet connection at virtually any location.

Once connected, the PROGNOST® Monitoring Suite can be launched on any device (notebook, tablet, monitor, etc.) to present live signals from the model to customers.

Now the first UP! Detect Demo Rack is in operation at ENTECH in Korea, the International Environment & Energy Industry Exhibition and Korea’s largest green platform.
