Hands-on learning with our PROGNOST-SILver test rack
The training with the test rack allows you to configure the PROGNOST®-SILver machine protection system exactly as you would in real plant conditions.
Best of all, Burckhardt Compression also has such a test rack at its headquarters in Winterthur. It is located in the training center and serves as a demonstration object to demonstrate the functions of PROGNOST®SILver.
In addition, the rack is to be used for customer training. Burckhardt Compression's customers are instructed in the functions of the machine protection program as part of training courses.
During a recent training session, it was used - and the feedback was outstanding. One participant was guided remotely by a colleague and was able to configure the system step-by-step on the new rack.
To make the experience as realistic as possible, we also built a complete MCD structure for test purposes. The test rack enables you to distribute the three core monitoring functions -
- Monitoring
- Communication
- Data storage in the data unit
- across three separate computers, just like in live operation.
